Safety at COMPANIN

Your safety is our top priority. Read these before your first session.

Before you book

  • Verify the badge. Every companion is KYC-verified — look for the green ✓ tick on their profile. Don't book anyone without it.
  • Read reviews. All reviews are from real, completed bookings. If a profile has zero reviews, ease in with a short coffee meeting first.
  • Chat first. Use the in-app chat to set expectations. Never share your full address until you're confident.
  • Set a public meeting spot. Cafés, parks, hotel lobbies — somewhere busy and easy to leave.

During a session

  • Tap "Check in" when you arrive. Both parties get a confirmation. We send an automated nudge if you don't.
  • Share live location with a trusted contact (Premium feature) for the duration of the booking.
  • Trust your gut. If something feels off, leave. You can cancel a session in progress — your card won't be charged for unused time.
  • No drugs or excessive alcohol. Companions can end the session if they feel unsafe.

After a session

  • Tap "Check out" to confirm the session ended safely. If you don't check out within 2 hours of the scheduled end time, our trust & safety team is alerted automatically.
  • Leave an honest review. It helps the community.
  • Report anything that felt wrong. Use the "Report this booking" button — reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

Red flags — DO NOT proceed

  • Profile asks you to take chat or payment off-platform (massive red flag).
  • Someone pressures you to share more than agreed (drugs, sexual content, identification documents, anything illegal).
  • A "companion" sends an unverified video call or wants to meet at an unfamiliar private address before any prior contact.

What we never allow

  • No explicit sexual services. COMPANIN is a non-explicit platform. Any violation = permanent ban + report to authorities.
  • No minors. Both parties must be 18+.
  • No harassment, threats, or discriminatory language.
  • No off-platform payment. All payments must run through Stripe so we can resolve disputes.

If something goes wrong

  1. Get to safety first. Call your local emergency number (911 / 999 / 112 / 100) if you're in immediate danger.
  2. Open the COMPANIN app → BookingDetail → "Report this booking".
  3. We'll contact you within 4 hours and freeze the relevant account while we investigate.
